Shannon Nedds, Owner & Enneagram Coach

Hi, I’m Shannon, your new Enneagram Coach! I am passionate about guiding individuals through life’s challenges and helping them uncover their true potential. I believe that by understanding the Enneagram, people can not only discover their own strengths and motivations but also foster deeper, more meaningful connections with those around them, whether in personal relationships or professional settings.

At the age of 17, I first experienced the joy and enlightenment that can come from identifying and connecting with a personality description. Finding myself in the description that captured so much of who I am gave me a freedom that I had never had before. It was ok to be me, and I was not alone. When I encountered the Enneagram while on a mission trip to Haiti, I had no idea what a journey it would take me on as it built on the foundation that had been created so many years before. The Enneagram showed me not only who I was, but WHY. Utilizing the insights of the Enneagram has given me a picture of the healthy and purposeful life that I desire, as well as provided a connection to others and where I need to be mindful of their needs as they differ from mine. 

While Coaching is what I currently spend much of my vocational life doing, over the past 25+ years, I worked in a variety of educational settings, including both public and private preschools, a public Montessori school, and most recently as the head of school for a private K through 12 program. I have my degree in Elementary education and completed several graduate courses throughout my career. As an extension to my past educational experiences, I’m currently completing an extensive Enneagram Coaching program through The Enneagram University.

My past experiences and accomplishments serve as evidence of my passion for new learning, which has served as a catalyst for the creation of Next Steps Enneagram Coaching and deepened my desire to be a resource for others. The Enneagram and its rich resources have impacted my marriage, friendships, career, and many other relational aspects of my life in a profound way, and I look forward to my clients experiencing the same.
